Mode cosmetic amazeballs matte lipstick review swatches

As you can see I'm somewhat fixated on the colour pink at the moment, This pink lipstick however is so flattering and affordable everyone will want it! its by Mode Cosmetic and its the shade Amazeballs. These lipsticks are available at coles supermarkets and are a measly $4 which I think is amazing for the actual quality of the product itself.

I am loving cool toned hot pinks at the moment, perfect for Spring even though literally half the world is saying its now cool enough for jumpers! so if this won't get you in the mood for Spring then nothing will!
It's pretty colour is what got me, and I was surprised to see it dried down into a matte pigmented yet comfortable layer on my lips It's staying power is great, only had to touch up one or two times at work and I get so many compliments on this shade, for a pale girl its hard finding the perfect pink to wear!
It's very opaque and a really unique pink I believe, perfect for deeper toned skin as well as pale girls like myself. Best of all it doesn't make my teeth look more yellow and doesn't crack when dried on the lips.
So not bad for an affordable makeup find at Coles! its also cruelty free and is the sister company of Australis.

have you tried anything from mode cosmetics?

Romantic in pink

The colour pink often has me scared and often ignoring it, at least in the makeup department, especially more so with eye shadow, I don't want to look like I have pink eye, or have some weird form of disease because I used the wrong shade of pink for my skin tone, I have a lot of redness in y skin, so I often stay away from those shades, however I teamed up with Glossier to bring you a post about the colour pink! I featured the bh cosmetics 28 foil palette which is one of my new favourite palettes at the moment.
The bh cosmetics 28 foil palette has a great range of shades, ranging from colours to more earthy shades that I adore. I created a very wearable look with this palette, using the mauves and pinks to create a halo eye, which would be great for hooded eyes as well as I have hooded eyes.

I came up with this eye shadow look using my bh cosmetics 28 foil palette and by chichi cosmetics spices palette and I love it! I also created a youtube video on how I created the look, youtube video on this lookwhich you can find here! I teamed up this halo, glowy eye look with a matte foundation, light bronzing and a nude lipgloss over a mauve lip liner.
It's no secret that I suck with winged eye liner, but ignore the unevenness of it, I used my toofaced felt pen liner and I love it, its very easy to use. I got it in the Nikkie tutorials palette collection.

I found blending is key for this eye look, especially because I have hooded eyes I like to bring the crease shade up a little higher creating a new crease.. So what do you think of bh cosmetics in general? I love their palettes, I currently own 4.

Urban decay palette naked 3 dupe Maybelline blushed nudes palette

Hello! today I'm sharing my thoughts on the Maybelline blushed nudes palette that I purchased for $18.99 at Coles supermarkets last week whilst it was on sale, I did this in my grocery shopping cause I feel like I'm getting myself something for free (meaning its not coming out of my allowance but it kinda is haha) do any of you do this too?
The packaging is such a pretty rose gold colour, Rose gold seems to be right on trend at the moment, and the shades in the palette are amazing. I didn't swatch all mainly the really light shades take a bit of work  but the dark ones are amazing, the mauve colour that's nearest the black is my favourite out of the lot.
Supposedly a dupe for the Urban decay naked 3 palette, I don't know for sure as I don't own the palette but seeing swatches online and reviews, it's a pretty close call! These kind of palettes are literally coming out of the woodworks everywhere! So the eye shadow comes housed within a typical plastic packaging, contains two sponge eye shadow applicators. Overall I think they did a good job on the actual packaging itself.
The colours in this palette are stunning, not too powdery or chalky which is a bonus considering the price of it in Australia. Overall the shades are what got me to buy this palette, I love the tones, the satins, mattes and shimmers.
have you tried these yet? what are your thoughts on this palette? is it a dupe? what are your thoughts on its price in Australia?

Eos dupe? Designer brands by db balm balls cruelty free Australian makeup blog review

Good morning! and happy Australia day to those in Australia or for those who celebrate it! today I'm sharing an Australian branded product, which I am in love with! its the Designer brads by db, balm balls! it looks similar to an eos, and the actual lipbalm itself, feels similar when applied, I have a couple of eos lipbalms to compare it with.

Their usual price is $4.99 but I picked up this one for $3.99 as my local chemist was having a sale, I love a good makeup saving! this flavour is Berry bliss, I love the pastel purple of the container, and it smells, amazing! not sickly sweet, but not tart either, a lovely combination that doesn't smell like that fake cosmetic fruit scent.
These also look somewhat similar to the revo lipbalms that were launched late last year in Australia, I am yet to try those. I do love the trend that is a sphere lip balm, it actually does make it surprisingly easier to apply. I do love how these feel on the lips, smooth, and the scent lingers, but its not in your face. Wear time, for me is a couple of hours, because I have severe, dry chapped lips, that need the moisture! I feel that these help soothe and smooth the lips.

The packaging as you can see, is so cute! you get a great amount of product as well, these have peppermint, johoba oil, and coconut oil in as skin loving ingredients and they are both cruelty free, and vegan friendly. The sphere shape makes it great for travelling, and the lid is secure, as is the rest of the packaging. Not a bad buy for under $5 even when not on sale! I'll be getting more flavours!

Have you tried these?
