Hello lovelies! today I wanted to show you a product I have been, obsessed with lately! its a bronzer, and its super affordable, from Kmart. Who doesn't love kmart shopping? I'm pretty sure I go in, twice a week!
This super affordable bronzer is by Lol(lots of love) and its the sister company to Bys cosmetics. The range costs $2, and the shade is brown sugar.
So the packaging is nothing to go by, its boxy, and cheap, but for its price what do you expect? but the actual product itself, is pigmented and easy to blend, for me its on the cooler shade which is great for pale girls like myself.
I love a bronzer that gives warmth and definition back to my face and that is what this bronzer does! I also use it as a crease colour for my eye shadow.
It stays all day long, and is able to be built up without looking like a cake face! for me the undertone of it works well, I'm a very pale girl, and rarely tan much at all, so to find a bronzer that isn't too orange based is a blessing.
so over all I'm quite impressed with the lol brand! they have a range of products, and I'll ceretainly be trying out more soon, what have you tried from Lol?
hugs Jess

winter glowing queen make up review and motd designer brands glam addict eye shadow cruelty free and vegan
Hello lovelies! hope you are all keeping warm on this Chilly afternoon in Melbourne/Australia today? I was inspired by the weather to get my winter glow on and this is the look I came up with and the products I used to achieve this look, all drugstore, all Australian cosmetics and all very good products.
This eye shadow palette by Designer brands db is a limited edition, and its their glamourous eye shadow palette. It's actually been one of my all time favourite eye shadow palettes because of the quality and colours in the pan.
They are super easy to blend out, and create fabulous looks that can be worn day time or night time. I love this palette! The texture of the shadows are buttery smooth, and pigmented well. I paid $6 for this on clearance at my chemist.
The eye shadow palette is called the Glam Addict, it boasts ten stunning colours that are so versatile.
This picture here was actually featured on mua post on instagram, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
I used the model co lash and line mascara the two in one product, and the model co mascara to build length and define my lashes. I used the liner to create a subtle wing. This product is amazing because I can actually create a wing with it and not mess up.
10 amazing eye shadows! you can see which ones I've been using and loving the most!
They all swatch really well, are super creamy and lovely shades as well.
the packaging is also really cute! not that I buy things forf the packaging but it does help! heehee
the finished look, what products have you been using?
have you used any of these? any tips to get winter happy looks?
hugs Jess

exciting haul featuring Urban decay eye shadow new york pallate! plus motd
Hello my lovelies! I've been fighting an illness all week and when I ventured out of the house yesterday for the second time this week to go to the doctors I stopped by my local thrift store just to see what they had. I always, always, always look in their make up/beauty section cause you never know what they may have. I was flawed, literally stonkered when I saw they had an original urban decay eye shadow pallete! I looked it up online and its the new york one, its pretty much brand new, so I guess the person who donated it didn't know what it was by the box? On the outside of the box it doesn't look that high end so I guess if you thought it was a jewellery box maybe you would donate it? that's the only way I can fathom it was there!!!
I adore the packaging, the pop up city cut out of new york is very cute!! I just love the detailing. At first I thought it may have been a knock off product but looking on the back and inside its legit, urban decay. And as you can tell by the sticker I only paid $5.25 for it! and yes I'll be sterilizing it before using it but even the eye liners look brand new, not smudged or anything.
I actually called my instagram friend @melanieejane_ as we've become friends and was like omg you cannot believe what I found in the salvo's!! she was like in shock as I was. I also picked up a few more goodies from the opshop which I'll do a post on later on but the link to the haul video can be found here JessicaEllinVlogs haul video so if you can please subscribe and give it a thumbs up for me!!
I also show the receipt that this came from the salvo's, to prove it for those that were wondering.
It doesn't even look like the eye shadows have been swatched, let alone used and I'm just so stoked to have found it because sephora was selling it for I think $54.00usd.

I know its nearly winter in my neck of the woods but I wanted to give a peachy, coral look a go and I'm so glad I did, it looks rather pretty, my no make up look. What do you guys think?
do you guys go thrifting? found anything cool? please share let me know who's reading as I'd love to get to know you.

My week in pictures featuring Urban decay Vice pallet
Hello lovelies, thought I'd share with you my week in pictures tonight. Tomorrow I am at the opshop I work at (thrift shop) and will be quite busy might get some inspiration to get some clothing/fashion pics.
I played with Nessie, she's my first ever pet parrot and is very special to me! I just love this snuggle bum.
Got the best chicken dinner in town, this chicken is addictive!
Picked up some thrifted notebooks for school in Disney Princess themed! I love them only $1 each.
Wassuper excited that my Urban decay Vice pallet arrived finally! I haven't even used it yet, its just stunning to look at.
Spent time in the garden and found these pretty flowers.
What have you all been up to? leave a comment!
hugs Jess

Bye Metalics eye shadow, one of the best pigmented black eye shadows out there.
Hello lovelies, today I thought I would share with you, an interesting little pallet that I have actually fallen in love with. I wouldn't have expected this from the likes of brands such as BYS however, they have seemingly upped their game!
I picked up this eye shadow pallet a week or two ago from Kmart as they were chucking it out for a pittance! at just $3 I thought, it doesn't matter if I don't wear it.
Well, let me tell you, these have been stunning colours, not only pigmented but the new wet trend as well!
Lets just say in the pan, it looks pretty normal, but very vibrant and interesting lot of colours, which was what drew me in, in the first place. When you swatch it, you actually see a sheen, because in the pan you think oh, that's a shame, shards of glitter. But on the eye lid, it turns into a lovely, glossy wet look that I have become to love.
In the pan, they come across very chalky and dusty, however these actually blend out super nicely. And you can use them wet or dry.
The top swatch is daylight without any other lighting, and the bottom one is my bathroom light so you can see how they shimmer.
You can imagine how surprised at how pigmented these colours were! I think the black is my favourite drug store black because of its wet looking texture.
excuse the eye liner, I was actually about to put falsies on for the first time so its still was in the cleaning up process because I was waiting for the mess from the falsies to ensue!
They last true to colour all day, and for a super cheap pallet when not on special ($6.95) why wouldn't you give it a go?
This is a look I came up with, using the teal coloured eye shadow, I think this is a great date night look! What do you guys think?
Have you tried anything like this from BYS lately? Please comment and let me know and follow me if you like. Share if you like this content!
