My Designer brands haul arrived today! I might have purchased some things on their website last week when they had free shipping. I'm basically showing you what I got cause I literally just picked them up from the post office this morning! but I'm so excited to start playing with them and giving you a more thorough review in the future!
First up we'll get the "boring" items out of the way haha not that they are boring in my books but they are the more practical items that I purchased. Well the concealer palette came free because I purchased 3 items in one go. Anyways I've been wanting to try this primer for ages! and I've read up that its meant to be a dupe for the Benefit porefessional primer, so I'm excited to try this! it has tea tree, aloe vera and peptides in it! The concealer actually looks pretty good too, and having a drugstore one that actually has an apricot shade is pretty cool! $14.95 for the primer.
ahh my beloved obsession with eye shadows continue! when I saw they brought out this pretty, limited edition for 2015, palette I knew I had to get it, I gravitate to these colours all the time, they are pigmented, and creamy, can tell after just swatching them. I paid $17.95 for this one which is the large, they do have a small but why get a small when you can go large?
swatches
Now onto the product I was most excited about because literally everyone has been talking about it on all the beauty review sites and Instagram. This looks exactly like a dupe for the Kat Von D contour palette, I don't own it, sadly but this is a more affordable option! cruelty free, and vegan friendly. $17.95 I love how big this palette is, and if I like it, I might have to get myself a back up though I do own 6 contour palettes already, derp.
What have you been hauling lately?
anything from Designer brands?
hugs Jess

MOTD and mini ulta3 argon oil primer review! glowy and healthy make up the perfect drugstore primer for dry skin
Hi all! I'm showing my motd that I came up with this morning, as I'm super happy with how it all pulled together. I will first run through the products I used, I used 9 products in total to get this glowy and healthy look. I wanted an everyday sort of pretty look, as today I'm just doing some shopping and running errands.
Hard candy blush
Db designer brands glam eye shadow glutch
estee lauder pure colour lipstick
profusions bb lip balm
Ultraflesh bronzing metalica
Loreal Manga mascara
W7 hd foundation
Ulta 3 concealer
Ulta 3 argan oil primer
Ulta 3 felt tip pen eye liner
This is swatches of the eye shadow! I love, love, love this palette, a great mix of metalics, satins and mattes. I use this on a weekly basis, and love how pigmented and easy to blend they are even though there is a little fall out as you can see on the pan.
the clutch is a handy size, and is very sturdy, I got this on clearance at my local chemist, and am so happy with the quality of the shadows. I also used the lightest shade in the pan as a hightlight! it worked so well, it really woke the skin up and brightened my under eyes.
The eye shadows look fantastic with a primer, I just dabbed a little of the argon oil primer on the lids and waited until it dried to a tackier finish.
The bronze metalica is the perfect bronzer shade for my skintone! and the blush just gives it an overall healthy flush of colour.

I love and always tend to gravitate towards these kinds of shades! I just seem to use these shades most. Is anyone else like that? what shades do you tend to use?

July make up favourites! Monthly make up faves Primer, contour, highlight and bbcream
Hi loves! hope you are all well, today I am bringing to you a post full of my July make up favourites that I've been reaching for, again and again this month!
This will give you a healthy and light coverage that will make your make up stay all day, hide pores, and contour the shiz out of your non contourable areas. Does that make sense? Well I'm talking about Palmers Cocoa butter eventone bb cream in Extra light. Bys contour kit, Maybelline bare skin pore reaser and Elf whipped highlighter.
I'm so happy Maybelline has released this in Australia! its a fab primer, and one that actually does reduce the size and appearance of my pores! Great price too, and even better when on sale. I purchased this for $6 on ebay ages ago.
Last but not least is the shimmering facial whip by elf! I love this stuff, gives a nice healthy glow in all the right places. $3 from Kmart.
I love this bbcream! the colour and coverage is fantastic for days that you don't want to over do the make up. $9 from Kmart and Priceline when on sale.

March favourites pore eraser, liquid bronzer, matte black eye shadow and more!
Hello lovelies today I thought I'd share with you my March favourites before it heads into April!!
I went shopping in my drawers again recently and found my love again of this product! I haven't used it in ages but have been using it a good deal lately. It's great for my dry skin.
I love wearing this lipgloss over lipstick just to give it a little something, its by profusions and their fast becoming one of my favourite brands.
I love a good matte black eye shadow and this one is pretty decent, by Essence and the shade is popeye.
I've been whipping this baby out a lot as of late because its just that nice pink shade that gives a bit of something like you have put effort in, without trying, Essence lipstick in barely there.
When I am wanting something a bit different this one is perfect, especially now us Aussies are in Autumn, the shade is Plum perfect.
Designer brands is also fast becoming my top favourite brands at the moment, they are cruelty free, vegan friendly and this little tube of fabulousness is amazing.
So these were my make up March favourites, what have yours been?
hugs Jess

shop my stash my three top favorite make up products I keep going back too concealer primer and mascara
Hello lovely people! Today I'm showing off my three fave products and am telling you why they are my three fave products.
The first one is the Maybelline Big eye waterproof mascara in black, I love this mascara purely because its versatility in being able to actually get into the lower lash line. I got mine for $10 when it first came out. I use this product so so much, the eye lashes aren't crispy but are black and adds length and volume, fans out in such a pretty way too, so I love this mascara.
Next is the Essence cover stick and I love this cover stick by essence because its a really natural looking cover stick and the price is amazing! its under $5 and it lasts all day long without looking cakey and on my skin type which is combination dry/oily that is amazing. I really love the packaging too as its sturdy, and safe, its easy to travel with, and pack in a make up case, and the concealer blends out lovely as well on the skin and into other products as well. For such a cheapie product this one is hard to pass up, this one has been a re purchase and I'll keep re purchasing this one over more expensive brands any time.
What are your shop my stash products that you go back to?
Hugs Jess
